– Fitness equipment is available to members with an amenity card
– Youth under 14 must be supervised by an adult in the fitness center
History:
The Whiting Center was dedicated in 1976 as a memorial to Sam J. Whiting, the first BVSA President, who played a vital role in planning and developing Bear Valley Springs.

Wildlife Notice:
Wildlife is an important and natural part of the Bear Valley Springs community. While enjoying Cub Lake and its surrounding areas, you may encounter elk, deer, or other wildlife. For your safety and theirs, please do not approach or attempt to interact with them. If elk or deer are present, give them plenty of space and allow them to pass through undisturbed.
Reservation Details:
– Meeting rooms are reservable through the Whiting Center front desk
– Table & chair rentals are available for a fee; members are responsible for pickup & return
– Campground reservations, fishing permits, and boat tags are issued through the Whiting Center
– Amenity card required for reservations
– BVSA Youth Sports leagues include soccer, baseball, basketball, roller hockey, and summer baseball camp
– Adult programs include pick-up basketball and senior co-ed softball
Availability:
– Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance
– Reservations are available from sunrise to sunset, with hours adjusting seasonally
– There is no lighting at this facility
